I am your Catechist, Ms. Patricia Connelly, and I would like to welcome you to our Adult Confirmation Course to prepare you for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

This day is important to you, as you will be receiving Communion & Confirmation. There are 3 video both you and your parents to watch as they take part in this important celebration:
For the day of your Confirmation, practice the following:
When receiving Confirmation:
1. When the Cardinal, Archbishop, or Bishop confers, he anoints our forehead with the Sign of the Cross, saying "Receive the seal of the Gift of the Holy Spirit". We reply, "AMEN".
2. The Cardinal, Archbishop, or Bishop will say, "Peace be with you." We reply, "And with your Spirit."
When receiving Communion:
1. When you line up, stand tall, and have your hands together in Prayer. See Image
2. Walk up to the Priest, stop, and bow. Once you are in front of the Priest, have your left hand forward, and right hand under your left hand. Raise it just enough so that the Priest can give you the Body of Christ.
3. The Priest will say, "The Body of Christ." Our reply is, "Amen".
4. You take the Host (Body of Christ), and receive Him. Then walk back to your seat.
